President’s Letter, January 2023
Hello everyone and welcome to another year!
Let’s look forward to a year filled with promise and plans.
Recently you received some news from our Affinity and Benefits Rep about an exciting trip to Egypt. Whether you choose that journey or another one, many of you will be travelling to sights unseen or your favourite destination.

Like me, you were probably also pleased to read about the 6.9% COLA news.
In this edition, you will also read about some scholarship winners. We are very pleased to be able to recognize the many great young people in our Public Schools.
It was pleasing to read so many applications (55) and to be able to choose the “winners” from so many.
To say that our School System is performing outstanding work in trying circumstances is no understatement.
My own Grandson will be graduating this year and is well-equipped for his future life.
