No need to beware the Ides of March when you’re on Spring Break!

I recall being a High School Principal when the decision was made to move from one week of Spring Break to two. Teachers and students came back refreshed and all ready to move into the final term.

General Meeting

Please note that the next General Meeting takes place on Wednesday, March 29th at 10:00am.

The Speaker, Sue Lantz (www.collaborativeaging.com) will address the topic Aging Your Way and at her request will NOT be recorded. She will be appearing via Zoom from Toronto.

Please join us in-person at the BCPVPA office or via Zoom. The link and needed attachments will be sent out closer to the date.

Tax Season

It’s that time of year again and here is the link to the BCRTA’s annual tax tip advice Tax Tips for the 2022 Tax Year – for retired educators • BCRTA

Remember: You can claim your BC teaching certificate annual fee of $80 if you have chosen to keep it current as it is a condition of employment. You cannot claim BCRPVPA or BCRTA membership fees.
