COSCO News
BCRPVPA is now a member of the Council of Senior Citizens’ Organizations of B.C better known as COSCO. COSCO is an umbrella organization that brings together older adults to work on common issues. We now have 65 affiliate groups including BCRPVPA, representing over 85,000 seniors. COSCO is affiliated with the 1,000,000-member National Pensioners Federation (NPF) which promotes these issues at the national level.
As an association BCRPVPA is nonpolitical, but we have joined COSCO so that members can be made aware of what is happening for seniors within our province and federally. We will be forwarding the newsletter and becoming an individual associate member is only needed if you wish to participate directly in the organization. Application at end of newsletter.
| Read the latest issue of COSCO News! Read about how BC’s 2026 budget will affect older adults, the divisiveness of Generation Squeeze, and more. |

The first booklet applies to your federal taxes and then there is province-specific information for those living in British Columbia, Ontario, Alberta, and Quebec.
An annual summary of your extended health claims and fees can be found at Green Shield Integrated Health Coverage and Care | GreenShield or Belairdirect at Client Centre Login | belairdirect
